@ taipei .V2

free breakfasts were included in our trip daily. however, given the vampiric nature of our lifestyles, we oni made it to eat on the 1st day. =p

just woke up faces

A common street scene in taipei, while waiting for the coach bus for a half-day trip to landmarks of attraction.

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, or National Taiwan Democracy Hall was the 1st stop we went.
_______________

the epitome of ugliness; on the plaque

taiwan engrish

cutie girl =]

i can lift the hall with my hands!

On the helpful advice of the tour-guide, we decided not to go into memorial hall as it was infested with hanging kites with odd facial expressions. They said it represents democratic freedom, but it was just another magnum opus of ugliness well done to many.

Went to
zhong lie ci afterwards, honour revolutionists de, or dead ppl who helped create the republic of china we know today.

shift changing parade

revolution @ Guangzhou led by Dr. Sun Yat Sen

taken by a rather reluctant bodyguard who's in charge of patrolling the area

as well as clearing any shits made by the guards.

wondering what created these burnt marks on the ground..

very big

Princess Mao's house, one of the aboriginals of taiwan. She did some intro to us, as well as trying to sell some products, as expected.

ling zhi tea

that's what i call pure honey

last stop of the tour, National Taipei Palace Museum

cute (earphones)

Exposed ourselves much to the historic wonders of our chinese culture during the visit inside, thou i'm not sure how much have i actually left behind.. a bid to comprehend the history that's over thousands of yrs old in just 1 visit is certainly not enough, but already enuff for us
actually..

No photography was allowed in the museum, so we took a few outside instead.

seemingly fake. pretty real.

saw a cute baby cabbage inside souvenir shop

korean-like mascot

loitered a little outside after the visit

the coke side of
our lives

Who, Me?
A fun-loving person
An occasional sentimentalist;
Simple but haphazard
Trust others easily
so be a good friend for me,
or an adroit liar at the very least
Treat mi with whatever fits ur desire,
And receive the same, u shall without denial
Smile, cause believe it or not
this is't ur typical reality,
this is my obstinate chaos.
Ur Mourns.
